When should I place my order?
-Orders to be delivered Monday through Friday should be placed by noon at least 10 days prior to the delivery date, per schedule availability. If you are requesting completion within 9 days or less, your order will be considered a rush order and should be placed by noon at least 4 days prior to give enough allotted time for your order (please see below our last minute fee for rushed orders). This is per schedule availability, as booked orders are a priority. In addition, not all orders can be done in the amount of time requested. Some orders may require additional tools and/or ingredients that may need to be shipped to us, so please take this into consideration when booking a last minute order.

Do you offer pick up/delivery on Sundays?
-Pastry Addict is closed on Sundays, and does not make deliveries or pick ups on this day unless for a wedding or large orders.

Can I place an "emergency" order?
-In the event that you contact Pastry Addict to place an order that is needed less than 4 days in advance, or any order that is delivered on Sunday (not including weddings), all orders will be charged an emergency fee of 100% of your total order (double the amount), in the event that the order can be completed in the time allotted.

I want to have my order delivered. Are you available?-Yes! My delivery fee is $25 to any location within a 20-mile radius of 30340, with an addition $1.50 per mile outside the radius. I require an order minimum of at least $50 before the delivery fee.

Can you incorporate edible images?
-Yes. As long as the image is a high resolution image, it can be used.

Do you print/apply logos?
-Yes, I can place an individual or company logo on your order. Please request the Logo Release Form that will authorize our print use of your logo.

How long does your cake stay fresh?
-My cakes stay fresh at room temperature (not including cakes with fruit fillings) for 4-6 days. Cakes with fillings should be refrigerated, and will stay fresh for up to 4 days after delivery.

Can I combine my promotional offers?
-No, only one offer is valid per order.

I emailed you for a dessert quote, but I haven't heard anything back. Did you get my email?
-Yes, I received your email. I receive a lot of inquiries throughout the day, and allot time each day to respond to these inquiries. I try to get to everyone in the same day, but am not always able to do so. Please allow up to 72 hours to receive a response from me. In the off chance you don't hear from me after 3 business days, don't be afraid to email me again!


I have my order scheduled for pick up, but now I would like to take advantage of delivery. How do I switch this?
-If your pick up is scheduled at least 3 business days from today, simply call or email me requesting the change. You will receive an invoice via PayPal for the delivery fee that will be due immediately. If your delivery fee is not paid within 24 hours of requesting this change, no changes will be made and your order will remain scheduled for pick up. Please keep in mind, my delivery schedule is arranged in advance, and delivery spots are on a first come, first serve basis. I will only be able to make this change to your order if there are remaining delivery times available for your event date.

Do you offer tastings?

-Yes, I offer cake tastings combined with a consultation, as well as tastings on the go. These are $25 for up to 2 people and include my top 4 cake flavors during the current season. Cake tastings do NOT count toward the overall cost of your order. Additional guests are $10/pp for up to 2 additional people.

Do you create desserts for people with food allergens?
-Unfortunately, no. I am working to build a reliable book of recipes for people that may be allergic to eggs, wheat, gluten, etc., but I have not successfully completed this at the moment. If you would like to be updated on this, feel free to reach out to me and ask!

Do you ship your products?
-Due to our local laws, Pastry Addict is not allowed to ship any products across state lines. While I have enjoyed sharing our goodies with the nation, I have been made aware of this law and have since stopped all shipping outside the state of Georgia. Should you ever visit the Atlanta area, let me know and I would love to whip up some desserts for you!

Should I refrigerate my cake or cupcakes?
-I would not recommend refrigeration of any cakes or cupcakes that are not fruit filled, as it seems to dry them out, unless otherwise specified. Your desserts should keep well for 4-6 days as long as they are kept in an airtight container, or kept covered in the cake box they are delivered in. My addiction jars can be refrigerated or frozen.


I received your invoice and contract, but I haven't sent in either document. Are you still creating my dessert?
-If your invoice AND contract are not received by the date specified on your invoice, your order will incur my last minute fee of 25% of the total order. This fee will be in place for up to 48 hours following your initial due date. Should you still neglect to submit both your contract and invoice within 48 hours, your order will be canceled. Pastry Addict requires full payment at least 10 days prior to your event date to purchase all necessary items and ingredients and create the dream dessert you are looking for. Booking last minute will interfere with my current schedule and other orders, and may not allot me the time that's needed to successfully complete your order.


Does Pastry Addict cater?
-Pastry Addict creates beautiful dessert tables, cupcake displays and many other treats for all types of celebrations, from weddings and birthdays to graduations and corporate events. Please contact me directly for any catering inquiries!

How far in advance can I place my order?
-Orders can be placed up to six months in advance on most occasions. For large orders or catering, Pastry Addict requires a notice of at least 1 month. Any orders not placed within the allotted time will incur a last minute fee of 25% of your total order.

I want to add liquor to my desserts. Can you do that?
-I offer infused dessert options where the alcohol is baked into the dessert, however I no longer offer the option to add pipettes or alcohol bottles to my desserts. This is illegal for cottage food businesses, and I would rather not risk the loss of my license :)

Do you offer next day pick up/delivery?
-Because all desserts are created to order, Pastry Addict does not offer next day pick up/delivery. Should we have the availability to create a custom dessert to be received the following day, your order will be considered an emergency order and will incur the appropriate fees (see above).

Do you offer same day pick up/delivery?
-At Pastry Addict, everything is created fresh to order. Since I bake to order, I cannot offer same day pick up/delivery.

I received my order, but I would like something different. Can I exchange it for something else?
-Because all desserts are created to order, as well as maintaining food safety, Pastry Addict does not process exchanges under any circumstances. Please triple check your order details prior to submitting and receiving your order.

I chose not to pick up my order, and now it's damaged! What do I do?
-If your order is damaged after receipt, Pastry Addict is not responsible for said damages. Pastry Addict is not responsible for any damage that occurs to your order after you receive it,as our order maintenance is outlined in our pick up waiver. If you would like to have your order fixed prior to the start of your event, there will be a fee of $30/hour, with a one hour minimum, that will need to be paid upon arrival. This is only available should my schedule permit such a time commitment, and should the damage to your desserts be fixable.

What happens if I am not at the delivery location to receive my order?
-If neither yourself or the recipient is available on site during your scheduled delivery date, the product(s) can be left in a safe location at your discretion. Should there be no one at the residence or business during the time of the delivery, and no special instructions were made prior to the delivery, the order will be stored for 48 hours if possible. It is then up to the client to reschedule a pick up time with me to receive the order.

If you would like to reschedule your order for delivery, you will incur an additional delivery charge for the second trip. If you have not rescheduled a pick up or delivery time more than 48 hours after your original date and time, Pastry Addict will discard your order. You will have to place a new order for your dessert.


I didn't sign my contract. Is my order still valid?
-Should you pay for your order prior to signing and sending in your contract, this creates a binding agreement between us and you, including all terms and conditions that are listed in the contract. Failure to sign will NOT make you exempt from the clauses listed in my contract. Please read the contract in its entirety prior to signing, and feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. You will need to submit a signed contract with any order.

How can I cancel my order?
-To cancel an order, please cancel by phone or email (dsimon@pastryaddict.com). A cancellation fee will apply if insufficient time is given, due to costs incurred, priority and preparation of the order. Charges for cancellations vary with each order, and will be specified at time of cancellation. Please refer to the specifics of your contract for cancellations.

How can I change my order?
-To change an order, please contact me via phone or email. Changes for basic orders can be placed up to 10 days prior to the scheduled pick up/delivery. For weddings or event orders, please refer to the specifics of your contract for order changes.

I need to change or cancel my wedding order. What do I do?
-If you have any questions or concerns regarding our policy for wedding cakes and desserts, please refer to the cake contract that was signed. If your question cannot be answered within the contract, feel free to call me and ask.

What if I am not satisfied with my order?
-If you find that you are unsatisfied with your order after pick up/delivery, a replacement dessert that is less than or equal to the price of the original dessert can be ordered for all orders $50 or less. For large orders, a replacement dessert that is less than or equal to 25% of the order can be requested. If desired, a store credit can be applied for the amount of the original order (for orders $50 and below), to be used at a later time. Pastry Addict does not provide monetary refunds after you receive your order under any circumstances.
